Morecambe V Yeovil at Globe Arena : Match Preview

28 December 2017
Callum Lang set for Morecambe start

Callum Lang will almost certainly be one of those coming into the Morecambe side against Yeovil.

The Shrimps slipped to a third successive defeat when beaten 4-1 by Notts County on Boxing Day, but Lang was singled out for praise by boss Jim Bentley having come off the bench to net his third goal in four games.

Bentley reported no fresh injuries after the game, yet the heavy home loss will almost certainly lead to changes.

Kevin Ellison, fit again after a hamstring problem, Michael Rose and Max Muller could all come in.

Yeovil skipper James Bailey faces a spell on the sidelines after being injured in the Boxing Day win at Cheltenham.

Bailey suffered suspected medial ligament damage in the first minute at Whaddon Road.

Connor Smith is expected to partner Matt Worthington in central midfield.

Seven-goal marksman Olufela Olomola is available after illness but Glovers boss Darren Way is expected to make few changes after Yeovil claimed back-to-back league wins for the first time in 14 months.
