Jim Bentley has made former Rotherham winger Kevin Ellison his first signing as Morecambe manager.Free transfer Ellison, 32, joins on a one year deal starting on July 1 after being released by the South Yorkshire League Two club.

The Shrimps have also confirmed defender Will Haining, 28, has committed his future to the club.

The Glaswegian, who spent time on loan at Fleetwood Town last season, has signed a two year contract.
