He will also be responsible for the delivery of three new areas of income, namely banqueting facilities, conferencing facilities and community sports facilities.
A statement on the club's official website said: "Brian will introduce an organisational structure within each of these three areas to ensure that the club is able to generate the additional income required to sustain the financial viability of Morecambe Football Club."
