Striker Phil Jevons has signed a two-year contract with Morecambe following his release by Huddersfield Town.The 30-year-old spent the whole of last season on loan with the Shrimps and scored 19 goals in 44 appearances as they reached the League Two play-offs.
Jevons told the club website: "I really enjoyed my football again at Morecambe last year.
"I think we surprised a few people by getting to the play-offs and I think we can carry on that success this season."
The former Yeovil frontman added: "I'm looking forward to playing at the new stadium and being part of what should be an exciting time for the club."
