Morecambe V Burton Albion at Globe Arena - Match Preview

Morecambe will be without Kevin Ellison and Andy Parrish for the visit of Burton.

Veteran forward Ellison sits out the second game of a three-match ban for his red card at Cheltenham last Friday.

Defender Parrish has this week discovered he chipped a bone in his ankle during the same game that will leave him out for several weeks.

The Shrimps will also make a late fitness check on left-back Robbie Threlfall, who was forced to leave the field early on Tuesday night against Chesterfield with a dead leg.

Jim Bentley's men won their first home game of the season in midweek and victory over the Brewers would be the first time six points out of six have been returned by the home side at the Globe Arena since February.

Burton will continue to monitor Calvin Zola.

Zola missed the 1-0 win at Southend on Tuesday night after a hamstring problem forced him off early in the second half of the 3-3 home draw against Northampton last weekend.

Billy Kee replaced Zola in the only expected change to Albion's starting line-up at Roots Hall. He spearheaded the attack along with Matt Paterson, with Justin Richards returning to the bench.

Joint-leading scorer Zola will probably go straight back into the team should he be fit.

Defenders Aaron Webster and Nathan Stanton, midfielders Jack Dyer and Cleveland Taylor and strikers Adi Yussuf and Richards are options for manager Gary Rowett should he wish to make any further changes.
