Port Vale will have Lee Collins back in contention after more than a month out with shin splints, although he is unlikely to start.
Boss Micky Adams has no injury or suspension concerns for Vale's first game since 26 November.
Port Vale manager Micky Adams tells BBC Radio Stoke: "They did the double over us last season and got into the play-offs, there's still more to come from them.
"I want us to be confident and have the belief that we are where we are because we are a good side.
"I just sense amongst the players that they are a bit tetchy and they want to get at it again."
