Arnold, Ian - A play maker from Durham, 'ARNIE' was restricted to a number of substitute appearences and a reported argument with the manager he was banished to the reserves and was sold to bay rivals Barrow.

Alty, Steven - Promising youngster who made regular appearences in the reserves and was on the fringes of the frist team until the manager had to cut the squad due to a poor 2000/2001 season. Sadly for this youngster he was one of those to depart. He went on to star for Bacup Borough.
