The Shrimps produced an excellent performance to win their 13th home game of the season, with the three goals coming in the final 15 minutes of the first half.
The hosts' goal spree began on 32 minutes. Garry Hunter played in Wayne Curtis with a wonderful ball through the centre of the Woking defence. Curtis took it on his right foot and cut inside before drilling a low shot into the bottom right hand corner of Shwan Jalal's goal.
Five minutes later it was 2-0. Goalscorer Curtis turned provider with a smart throughball for Danny Carlton who made no mistake to stab home his fifth goal in four games.
The Shrimps then added to their tally with an excellent third goal on the stroke of half-time after a swift counter attack.
A Woking free-kick on the edge of the Morecambe box was cleared. Gary Thompson stormed forward and produced the perfect low cross for the onrushing Hunter to slide past Jalal.
Morecambe had a golden chance to make it 4-0 on 53 minutes when they were awarded a penalty after Neil Smith brought down Michael Twiss on the edge of the area. Twiss stepped up but saw his kick superbly saved by Jalal at full stretch.
That save gave Woking heart and they enjoyed their best spell of the game. Liam Cockerill presented Craig McAllister with a golden opportunity with a pinpoint cross, but the striker headed wide at the far post when he should have hit the target.
The next move of note saw the Cards pull one back. McAllister flicked on for Steve Ferguson who latched on to the loose ball and beat the advancing Steven Drench.
Morecambe then took the upper hand again and almost extended their lead on several occasions.
Curtis saw a header cleared off the line by Shola Oyedele and Fraser McLachlan flicked a Twiss corner inches over before the final whistle blew.
